Overnight escorts in Milan, and the lake
An overnight in Milan is an early city's night: aperitivo at seven, dinner at nine, home by one — and then a slow morning, which the Milanese do better than anyone. For a second night, there is the lake. Here is how all of it is arranged.
Milan keeps earlier hours than its reputation. The evening starts at seven with a drink and is comfortably over by one, outside Fashion Week. That makes an overnight here a different shape from a Madrid one: more of the twelve hours are spent asleep, and the morning is the part people remember.
How the hours work
An overnight with us is twelve hours — in Milan, usually nine in the evening to nine in the morning. Two patterns cover most of them:
The whole evening. She meets you for the aperitivo at seven, dinner at nine, and the night is yours from there. Book her from seven and the twelve hours run to seven; most people prefer to start the clock at nine and have the drink and the dinner as a dinner date that turns into the night.
After your evening. You have a client dinner or a show to get through. She arrives at the hotel at eleven, and the morning runs correspondingly later.
The clock starts when she arrives. Extending through lunch is usually possible, and worth raising when you book.
The registration rule
Italian hotels are required by law to register every guest with the authorities, usually within a day of arrival. It is an administrative formality that applies to everyone, and its one practical consequence is this: book the room for two.
Then nothing happens. Her ID is noted at reception, or you add her name to the booking in advance, and she has a key like any other guest. What creates an awkward exchange is a single-occupancy booking and a second person at one in the morning, when the night porter is obliged to ask.
Hotels that work
Nearly all our overnights in Milan are in two places:
- The Quadrilatero — the Four Seasons, the Bulgari, the Mandarin Oriental, the Armani, the Park Hyatt, Portrait Milano. Five minutes apart on foot, busy at every hour, and used to guests who keep irregular time. The Bulgari and the Four Seasons have gardens, which in summer is the whole point.
- Brera — a handful of small, serious hotels among the galleries. Fewer rooms, quieter lobbies, a walk home after dinner.
The business hotels of Porta Nuova and CityLife are perfectly good and practical on a working trip. The hotels around Centrale are convenient for a train and otherwise uneven.
The first night, we would rather it were a hotel. A private flat generally works once we know each other — and if a flat is where you are staying, say so and we will tell you what can be done.
The morning
The Milanese morning is a ritual: coffee standing at the bar, the newspaper, no hurry whatsoever. Good hotels serve breakfast until half past ten, checkout is at noon, and nobody is surprised by a late one. If you have an early meeting, say so the night before and she will be gone before you are.
The second night: Como
This is what Milan has that no other city we work in has. Como is forty minutes by train and an hour by car; Bellagio and Varenna an hour more. A great many of our two-night arrangements are one night in the city and one on the lake, and the lake is the night people talk about afterwards. Tell us when you book and we will plan it as one arrangement, driver included; the detail of longer trips is on the travel page.
Summer
From mid-July the city is hot and from the first of August it is empty: half the restaurants close for Ferragosto and the people who can leave have left. It is the one month when a same-week overnight is easy — and the month when the lake makes most sense.
What it costs
| Range | |
|---|---|
| Overnight, 12 hours | $5,500 – 9,000 |
| Extended morning or lunch | quoted at booking |
| Two nights, city and lake | quoted as one arrangement |
Her time and her company. The room, dinner and the driver are yours, and what they cost in Milan — including the weeks when they double — is on the Milan rates page. A first booking carries a deposit, deducted from the balance.
Notice
Two or three days for most of the year. Around Design Week, Fashion Week and the Grand Prix, two to three weeks — the hotels fill first and the companions go with them. In August, tomorrow is often possible.
Questions people actually ask
Will reception say anything? Not if the room is booked for two. She is a registered guest with a key, and Italian hotel staff have a long tradition of noticing nothing.
Is Milan too early a city for a long night? Only on a weekday. Say that you want the night to run late and we will suggest someone whose evening is built that way — and the right bar for it.
Can the second night be on the lake? Yes, and it is the arrangement we would suggest first. Como, Bellagio or a villa hotel in between; we plan the driver, the hotel and the timing as one.
And an early meeting? Say so the night before. She will be gone before your alarm.
How to arrange one
Message us with the date, your hotel and whether dinner is part of it — and whether the lake is. We will come back with who is genuinely free, with photographs.
Kept private, shown on request
Nobody we represent is shown publicly. Ask, and we send photographs, video and who is free on your dates in Milan. Members see every new companion first, in a private members’ area.
