How to choose an escort agency in Madrid

Search for an escort agency in Madrid in English and you get things that are not comparable: classified portals with thousands of adverts, apartments that call themselves agencies, long-established local agencies that work almost entirely in Spanish, and a handful of international ones. They differ in price by a factor of five, and the names tell you nothing.

So start with the structure rather than the rankings.

What the Madrid market is made of

None of these is a trick. They are different products. The mistake is comparing the hourly price of a piso with an agency that sends someone able to sit through a three-hour business dinner — and then being surprised by either the price or the evening.

Five checks that work in Madrid

1. Write in English and read what comes back

Much of this market operates in Spanish and answers foreigners through a translator. That is fine for a price list and useless when plans change at eleven at night. Ask something that needs a real answer — whether she is free on a particular date, whether she is comfortable at a formal dinner — and judge the reply, not the speed.

2. Ask where she is coming from

Madrid operators divide into those who send someone to you and those who expect you to come to an apartment. Many advertise both. A “hotel visit” from a piso usually means whoever is free takes a taxi, and the taxi goes on your bill. Ask plainly: is this an outcall, who is coming, and is travel included in the figure?

3. Read the tariff — and what is missing from it

Unlike most cities, Madrid agencies generally publish their prices, which makes the absence of a tariff a signal in itself. What tariffs tend to leave out: the supplement for a hotel visit, the supplement after midnight, and the minimum booking for an outcall. A proper quote names the total, in euros, for the hours you asked for.

4. Treat “fotos verificadas” as a start, not a guarantee

Spanish portals badge photographs as verified. It means someone once matched a set of pictures to a person. It does not mean the pictures are recent or unretouched, or that the person in them is the one an intermediary will send. Ask for something current and unedited to be sent privately. An agency that knows who it represents can do that in minutes.

5. Notice whether anyone asks about you

Very few local operators screen clients at all. It feels convenient, and it tells you that nobody is responsible for her safety — which usually means nobody is responsible for your evening either. The reasoning is set out in our note on screening.

The scams that are specific to Spain

The Bizum reservation. By some distance the most common. An advert with excellent photographs and a low price asks for a “reserva” — twenty, fifty, a hundred euros — sent by Bizum to a mobile number before she sets off. Then a second payment, for “security” or the taxi. Then silence. Bizum transfers are instant and cannot be recalled. A genuine deposit comes after a real conversation, is a stated percentage, and is deducted from the balance.

The door price. You arrive at an apartment and learn that the advertised figure was for a shorter time, or for somebody else. The alternative on offer is to leave. Most people pay.

The swap. The person who arrives is not the one in the advert, and it is presented as bad luck — she was taken ill, her friend came instead. Decline at the door. You owe nothing for someone you did not book.

The cloned advert. The same photographs on four portals with four different phone numbers. One of those numbers, at most, has anything to do with the person in the pictures. A reverse image search takes ten seconds.

What it costs in Madrid

Madrid is not an expensive market. Roughly:

The gap between the second and third rows is the question most people actually have, so here is the honest answer. The third row is not the same service at a higher price. It buys someone who has been met in person by the agency, who is not on any portal, who can carry an evening with other people in it, and whose arrangement is handled by one person from the first message to the last. If your evening needs none of that, it is not worth the difference.

Where we fit — and where we do not

If you want two hours at your hotel on a Tuesday and are comfortable arranging it in Spanish, a good local agency will do that well for a third of our figure. We would rather say so than take the booking.
